Amari is a walking miracle and a living symbol of hope. At birth, he was strangled by his umbilical cord, cutting off his oxygen and leaving doctors fighting to save his life. He spent his first days on ECMO, a life-support treatment that shut down his heart and lungs to allow them to heal. Doctors warned that he might never walk, talk, or hear, but Amari defied every odd placed against him.
Amari lives with Cerebral Palsy, and his courage and light fuel everything we do, from community programs to creative projects that open doors for young adults with disabilities. He dances, laughs, and inspires everyone around him!
Now 22 years old, Amari has become an advocate for disability inclusion, a Special Olympics athlete, and the heart of a new creative movement that blends music, community, and purpose. In 2025, he partnered with platinum recording artist DLow, creator of the viral DLow Shuffle, to launch a dance designed for people with disabilities - a rhythm everyone can feel, whether they hear it or not.
